Get in the Routine
1. Kick Back: Stand upright and place feet parallel and hip distance apart, balance centered. Roll your weight onto the back of the soft foam heel â" hold for a count of five and then back to the center. Do not lock knees or tip backward. Stretches calf and hamstrings. Repeat 5 to 10 times.
2. Rock and Roll: Stand upright and place feet parallel and hip distance apart, balance centered. Roll your weight forward so you are balancing on the underside of your toes â" hold for a count of two, then slowly rock back to the soft heel â" hold for a count of two, and then back to your center of balance. Do not lock knees or tip backward. Stretches calf and hamstrings, warms up Achilles and ankles. Repeat 5 to 10 times.
3. Roll and Rock and Roll: Follow the Rock and Roll stretch, but alternate feet so one is rolling to the toes and one is rocking back. Repeat 5 to 6 times.
4. The Lean: Place your hands on a wall, parallel and slightly above your head. With one leg in front of the other and your arms forward, press with your palms as if you were leaning on the wall. Keep your back leg straight and your front foot on the floor, then bend the front leg and lean forward by moving your hips toward the wall. Hold for a count of five, then repeat on the other side. Stretches calf and Achilles. Repeat 5 to 6 times.

Great Shoes but They Run Big; Size down! (2010-06-12)
Love Skechers and I like this one too. However, I ordered the regular size I always get in Skechers and they are too big. I thought they might work with heavy socs, but they still are big and slip in the back causing blisters. I would order at least 1/2 size down. Great shoes IF you get the right size!

By FAR the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I bought them for a trip to New York City where I knew I'd be doing alot of walking. I already have a pair of Skechers Shape-up shoes, but I wanted something for the summer heat. The shape of the sole actually propels you to your next step so it eases the effort, and the "sand-like" sole eases the impact. For a 300 pound woman who doesn't walk much, to be able to walk MILES around NYC, and have her feet ready to walk again the next day....it has to be the shoes!!! I highly recommend Skechers Shape Ups....definately worth the money.
Great Shape Up! (2010-05-31)
This shoe is comfortable, cool for summer months, and wonderful for back and leg support. I also have a pair of the Mary Jane's, and they run a bit small. These do not. Order as you would for a true-to-size fit. I can tell that my legs, especially my calves and the front of my thighs, are improving in tone and strength. I highly recommend them.
Run big (2010-05-28)
I gave these four stars because I do like them, but on the advice of others I bought half a size bigger. Dont! These are very wide in the heel and almost impossible to make narrower without cutting off the circulation to your ankle. I have tried everything imaginable to make the heel tighter, to no avail. Even with socks on, they are still too wide. I have other Shape-Ups that I enjoy much more because they lace up and I can adjust them better. I occaisionally wear these, but not as often as I'd like. I suppose I will have to wait until my daughter's feet get a bit bigger and then give them to her--which shouldn't be too much longer. I just wish I had bought the correct size and not listened to others who are in denial over their actual shoe size.
