Best shoe ever! (2010-07-10)
I am a big guy and spend a lot of time on my feet. Even with an active exercise schedule, I found that my ankles, knees, calves and back would be in a lot of pain at the end of a day. I am also a diabetic, and my feet would be screaming at me! It would take me a day or two to recover from one day on my feet.
Not any more. I have changed over every shoe I could to Shape Ups. I have the athletic style as well as a pair of black and brown leathers. They look good, but more importantly they feel great! Even more interesting is that they become a topic of conversation...and I have had some great talks that started with "what kind of shoes are you wearing!?"
I did have to get to a 14 for fit, even though I wear 12's or 13's in other shoes, but once I found the fit, they were great. I would recommend that you size in a store first before buying them online.
BTW--there isn't a pricing advantage by buying on line, but there is a big selection advantage, even compared to a Skecher's store. I went to 8 or 10 stores to find the work shoes, and finally found the size and style I needed on line. It was worth the hassle.
Best Shoes for the Knees (2010-07-08)
I bought two pair for work, this shoes are the best I ever wear. I have bad knees, and this is the best medicine for my knees and feet, I also have a pair of Shechers tennis shoes for waking and exercise. I feel like walking on air.

very roomy inside (2010-06-25)
This is my third pair of Shape-ups. First was a pair of Lace-ups

next was a pair of Cadence Fitness Sandals. After reading advice about ordering a half size up I did and both fit perfectly in size 10.
So I ordered these work boots in size 10. My first impression was that they are the same size as my first pair, but they have a different construction with much less of the padding. Because of that there was way more room inside. The point I am trying to make is I had to send them back because they are too big. Other than that I really like them and would give five stars but for the size issue.
Consider ordering them a size or at least half a size smaller than other model shape-ups.
Skecher work Men's shape-ups (2010-06-25)
I have been wearing these shoes daily for 2 weeks and I have already noticed a difference in my waste size even though I have not lost any weight. I actually bought these to try to strengthen my right leg that has suffered some atrophy due to a ruptured disc about twenty years ago that signicantly reduced the nerve response to that leg. I have already seen about .25 inch growth in my calf in this short period of time. Maladies aside, these shoes are very comfortable but do dake a day or two to adjust to the squishy sole.
Great shoe (2010-06-22)
My husband selected this shoe for a work shoe. His doctor had recommended this type for ankle support. He likes the arch support as well. Good looking and sturdy.
